Are you still looking for (1) of these RARE 1st Model '73 Receivers's ??--This rare beauty was found in S. Arizona while dismantling an old Structure. This is the 1873 1st model Frame-Receiver WITH this worn Dust Cover... Found under floor planking... It is missing some internal parts..but the important F'pin w/Bolt and Hammer & rod &(original)/Hammer w/stirrup all move freely. . The wood stock is a valid '73 but has had some work done to it-NO B'plate. I may have a barrel for this in the barn..The receiver threads are sharp and clean. I seroiusly doubt you'll ever locate another 1st Model "project" receiver to make your own Rifle or Carbine..! If you have any questions..just send me an email.
