The H&K P7M10 S&W .40 cal is one of the more recent examples of Heckler and Koch's innovative style. This German-made HK pistol features the brand's signature "continous motion principle", meaning it is recoil operated. It has a single-action semi-auto function in which squeezing the grip cocks the internal hammer to fire the inital round and must continue to be held for the shots that follow. The right-side of the slide bears engravings of the HK logo and a small eagle, while the left-side reads "Heckler and Koch GMBH - Made in Germany".
