This pistol was made around 1961. The pistol's serial number is K 493442. It is a early second change model. This Smith & Wesson is fitted with a 6 inch barrel. It has the diamond center grips that are serial numbered to this pistol. It has the pinned barrel. This is a three screw frame. This pistol shows very little use or being fired. The original bluing would rate a 99% overall condition. The grips would also rate the same. The cylinder has a light drag line from the cylinder bolt stop. The original box is serial numbered to this pistol. It has the original pamplet and cleaning rod set. The box is in very fine condition. This is a very well cared for Smith & Wesson. In this fine of condition, this pistol would be a collector grade pistol!
