Beautiful Remington 742 Woodsmaster BDL made in 1970 chambered in 30-06. It has a high polish blue finish, square cut fore end, and basket weave texture stock with "Fleur De Lis" style accents. This firearm is in good shape overall, with field wear and light freckling on the receiver. It comes with Redfield 4x scope with weaver rings.
The Remington 742 is an auto loader, gas operated with a 4 round detachable magazine.The Model 742, also known as the Woodsmaster is a semi-automatic rifle that was produced by Remington Arms from 1960 until 1980. Features include a side ejection port and a free-floating barrel. It uses the same action as the Remington 1100 series shotguns with both having the venerable 870 series as the parent gun. In 1981, the Model 742 was replaced by the Model 7400. This particular gun features the basket weave checkering on the forearm and stock which is in excellent condition.
