Large bore percussion pistols by Hollis, of Cheltenham. Barrels are 4"" and overall length is 8.5"". The pistols are expertly engraved with leaf scrolls as are the cocks and trigger guard. Barrels are marked with ""crown cp"" for black powder proof for finial black powder proof for smooth bore guns. Also marked marked crown ""v"" for final view proof. Barrels have approximately 95% deep blue. The butt caps are lions heads in relief. The grips are excellent with very fine line checkering. Pistols' have captive ramrods, and both have belt hooks. Top barrel flat is marked ""Hollis Cheltenham"". Actions work perfectly. These are a very fine pair of large bore self defense pistols!
