Near excellent overall condition with scuff marks to underside of trigger guard. Mfd in 1982, first year production.
The Colt MK V Trooper .357 Magnum revolver was commonly carried amongst American law enforcement in 1990's, and to this day holds its place as one the more recognizable revolvers ever made. Colt's Trooper series gained its legendary status largely in-part to its common use in Hollywood films. The MK V is particularly associated with law enforcement due to its usage in the show Miami Vice. The trigger action is improved from models just prior to the MK V, in addition to increased accuracy. The wood-grip holds gold medallions bearing the Colt horse. A horse and the letter "V" can be found beneath the cylinder release as well.
