Description: Hammerguns - This is an excellent example of an classic English water fowl double. Nice bores and tight this gun is marsh or turkey terrain ready! (Hey, Hell may freeze over and our politicians may revoke the 8 bore gun ban for water fowl shooting). As I understand it, the law made sense when it was created as their was no harvest limits then but when limits were the new law, the bore size law became obsolete but was never revoked. Most English double or single 8 bores we get in are basic unadorned lower grade guns but let me be clear this gun is not that way. This gun is much higher quality in all ways. The wood is higher grade, the engraving is exceptional, and the barrels are beautiful and struck perfectly. Their is 16"of lettering down the rib expounding on all the awards this maker has won. This is a golden opportunity to own a high grade English double eight. Remember, their is never anything wrong with having the biggest gun in the room. :) *Note the great high and modern stock dimension and also the 37" barrels! * We have some unfired 8 gauge hulls to go with this gun. Free shipping anywhere in the lower 48 states. *** Note: To see this gun with high resolution photos and a zoom-in feature, go to the vintagedoubles main site and search for the gun ID: 4292 or browse the main site to see our full gun collection. |
