For those interested in a relatively EZ 'project is this 1873 22Cal RF Rifle. It does have the (hard to find) matching 'Sideplates/carrier and carrier lever/lower 22cal. loading tube etc.. The 24 in bore has some rough spots and visible rifling which WILL spin a bullet..at lest you'll not need to relign it. I heard that Taylors Firearms(Uberti) has parts that WILL fit-work in this rifle..I did check..and found that the 1866 Uberti-22cal. has the missing parts..at decent prices...for what it's worth to those interested. This ships anywhere in ConUSA where not prohibitted for $42.00..SOLD AS-IS-NO RETURN beacuse it is a "project" gun.
