On Hold Sale Pending. This is the US model 1841 Mississippi rifle. The lock marked US Remington, Herkimer, NY, US 1853 with scattered pitting. Full length barrel marked Steel with a brown color and scattered pitting in 54 rifled caliber with front and rear sights. Brass but plate marked US, all brass has a light brown patina. The rear sling swivel is present the front one is missing. The full length dark walnut stock has a cartouche and is fairly good but shows use with scattered dents, gauges, and a couple hairline cracks. The nipple is present and the lock functions as it should. I believe the ramrod is correct for this Remington. Shipping will be actual cost approximately 50.00.
