Description:
Super nice Winchester 97 in highly desirable 16 gauge. S/N 965053 made in 1951. 28" Full Choke Barrel with an excellent bore. 2 3/4" Chamber. Mechanical functions are smooth and proper in all regards. The original rust blued metal is in excellent condition throughout with the only real wear worth mentioning on the lower mag tube from slide action. The wood is great as well, but does show one notable scrape on lower left side of buttstock which I have zoomed in on. Overall, an exceptional example of this superbly built iconic shotgun.
