VERY HIGH CONDITION 1895 .30 ARMY (.30-40 KRAG) CALIBER, 28" RIFLE, #412XXX, MADE 1921. This is a really fine example that shows nearly all the blue overall. The barrel has deep blue overall with only some light scratching to the barrel in a very small area just ahead of the receiver ring on top. Barrel markings are sharp and clear and it is fitted with a buckhorn rear sight with small blade front sight. The receiver also shows nearly all the blue with some light edge wear to the top left edge by the bolt. Even the magazine and lever retain nearly all the blue. Sharp receiver markings, excellent screws, excellent stock and forearm with tight wood to metal fit, tight action, exc. bright sharp bore. Hundred year old Winchester 1895, hard to find this nice.
