Payment Types Accepted: checks, cashiers/bank check, money order Description: VERY FINE CONDITION AND RARE MODEL '93 20" OCTAGON SHORT RIFLE, .32 SPECIAL CAL.,  WITH LIMITED PRODUCTION "MARLIN FIREARMS CORPORATION" STAMPING ONLY USED FROM 1922-1924. With this barrel address is is fairly accurate to date this unusual '93.  Serial number is A6XX. It retains excellent blue on the octagon barrel and magazine. The barrel has the "SPECIAL SMOKELESS STEEL"  stamping and is fitted with a buckhorn rear sight with Rocky Mountain blade front sight. The receiver shows nice case color that is a bit stronger on the left side and top and more faded/silvery on the right side. The receiver bottom and upper tang still show some case color mixing a cloudy silver. The loading gate and forend cap show fine deep blue. The mech. is excellent sand tight and the bore is sharp and excellent. The stock and forend  are of dark walnut and are excellent with tight wood to metal fit. These short rifles  were made in very small numbers and are very hard to find. Short rifles tended to see hard use and this is one of the best I've seen in a very long time.
