Description:
This very rare configuration rifle features a 24 inch octagon heavy Number 4 weight barrel chambered in 22 LR caliber. Also has a Take-down frame and rifle style crescent butt. Not that many High Walls are in 22 caliber either! Good shootable bore that would benefit from a good cleaning. Nice smooth functioning action. German silver blade front and sporting rear sights. Barrel is a plum/blue color. Receiver is mostly a brown patina. Wood looks good with the usual handling mars and a small crack coming off the upper tang. This is a Heavy gun weighing over 10 pounds! A rare gun to fill a hole in your 22 collection or your 1885 collection.
