Payment Types Accepted: Description: On Hold Sale Pending. US Harpers Ferry Model 1816 flintlock converted to percussion in 69 caliber dated 1836 on the lock and tang. The full 3 band dark walnut stock is good with a couple chips near the lock. The functioning lock is marked Harpers Ferry 1836 US with the American eagle. Full length barrel is marked 1836 with v p and Eagle head at the breach and has been lightly cleaned so it's a brown grey with some roughness mainly at the breach and a salt pepper appearance. The rest of the metal parts are have a dark brown appearance with some scattered pitting. The gun appears original and complete with both sling swivels. A nice looking old Harpers Ferry musket.
