ON HOLD SALE PENDING. US Springfield Model 1866 trapdoor 50-70 caliber also known as the second Allen conversion. Full length 3 band dark walnut stock is in very good condition. Full length barrel has both front and rear sights and a very good bore. The lock is marked US Springfield with the eagle and is correctly dated 1864 and functions fine. The breach block is marked 1866 with the eagle head. All metal parts have a light brown patina. This old Springfield is in very nice condition overall.
