Pacific rifle with double set adjustable triggers and ring lever. Barrel is 30"" and is full octagon. Marlin name and Ballard's patent on left side of frame. The ramrod is present. This rifle is a heavy weight model and barrel is marked 40-63. Forend and buttstock have excellent checkering. This pistol grip has a fluted horn cap. The butt plate is rifle type and is steel. The stocks are walnut with figure that appears to be Circassian walnut. Fore finishes in a schnabel with a black horn accent. Bore is excellent and mirror bright. Frame is fitted for a tang sight. The barrel and frame have a mottled patina. Overall this is a fine Pacific model.
