Previously referred to as the "Victory Model", "Military & Police" or "Model of 1899", the Smith & Wesson Model 10 gained popularity throughout the world, with variations being used in both World Wars. This K-frame, six-shot .38 Special proved its worth in those conflicts, with the general design even being mimicked by the militaries of countries such as Ireland, China and Israel. In particular, the 10-5 version was introduced in 1962 with slight upgrades from prior editions. The grips house gold Smith & Wesson medallions. The finish bears a Smith & Wesson logo on the right-side beneath the hammer. This gun has been well maintained.
