Description:
This cased set of percussion pistols were made in 1995 by the Colt Blackpowder Co. They were intended to be presented to the Chairman of Colt’s Firearms, Donald E. Zilkha, who in 1994 bought an 85% share of Colt’s. Each of the guns has a special serial number, DEZ1. For some reason Mr. Zilkha never took possession of these revolvers.
The guns are presented in a custom case along with a nipple wrench and some .36 Cal lead balls for display. Each one has its original Colt Blackpower box and Instruction Manual as well as the original white outer box.
The .36 Cal M1851 Navy Revolver has the familiar 7 ½” barrel. The blue finish is flawless. The frame, Hammer and Loading Lever assembly are beautifully color case hardened. The Trigger Guard, and Backstrap appear to be Nickel plated. There is just the slightest bit of flaws in the plating of the Trigger Guard left side where it meets the frame. The backstrap has “Sam Colt” signature marked on it. It is in pristine condition, unfired and apparently un-turned as not even the faintest line exists on the cylinder. An interesting, related item is an 1851 dated penny in fine condition that is included.

Both guns are serial numbered DEZ1. The Colt letter documenting Mr. Zilkha’s association will be included. This is a unique one of a kind set of revolvers from the Colt Signature series. This is a fine display item for office or Gun Room and will enhance many collections.

These guns are sold for collectors and only represented as used firearms that must be checked by a competent person, observe all the necessary safety precautions prior to attempting to load and fire one of these weapons
RETURNS:
Returns must be made within 3 days of receipt. They must be received in exactly the same condition with no parts exchanged. If it has been altered, damaged, or fired, a refund will not be made. Packing, shipping and insurance cost will not be refunded. All layaway purchases are returnable for merchandise credit only.
PAYMENT:
Bank check, Personal check, and Money Orders are preferred. Visa and MasterCard are accepted with a 3% processing fee. For Visa and MasterCard orders please provide the account number, code number, expiration date, name on card, phone number and card billing address. This information can be phoned in, or E-Mailed. All orders must be paid in advance, C.O.D. orders are not accepted. Checks, both Bank and Personal must clear before the order will be shipped, usually a 2 week delay.
LAYAWAYS:
A 20% deposit is required. Balance is due in 60 days. Deposits are non-refundable and are forfeited after 60 days. Layaway sales are returnable for merchandise credit only.
SALES TAX:
Pennsylvania state sales tax is 6% for in state purchases. The payment of other states sales tax, if applicable, for shipped items is the buyers responsibility.
