These are excellently matched blanks. Incredible figure the whole length of both blanks. Air dried for 30 years. Figure and fiddleback appear much nicer in person.
The figure will show even further from shaping. The dark mineral lines flow perfectly through the pistol grip and the toe of the stock. You can see that as outside material is removed, the much sought after dark mineral lines centre through the toe and lines of the stock at the final shape.
Also appealing to any user and stock maker is the strength of the grain flow through the grip, and the straight grain throughs forends.
Weight is on the lighter end of medium. Might seperate if interested.
