Description:
1849 Colt Pocket Revolver with 4" barrel. 6 shot 1 line New York address. Produced in 1861. Serial number 233015. Barrel and cylinder retain about 50% bright original blue. Loss of finish is from flaking, not use. Frame, hammer and loading lever have most of the vivid casecolors remaining. Just a little silver remains on trigger guard and backstrap as in this time frame of production the new process of silvering didn't hold up at all. Cylinder scene is all present . Safety pins are all there. Action is fine. Bore is excellent and bright. Grips retain 98% original varnish. Great Civil War Pocket! A load of color and condition.
