Description:
A Very , very fine detailed Pirate ship Captain long 17th ~18th flintlock belt/sash pistol with numberous deep chisel carved European walnut stock with very fine early wire inlays all in very good condition. The top of the 12 1/2" long octagonal/round barrel is engraved and inlaid. The early bananna shaped lock is also ornately chisel engraved. The action works well and has a very strong main-spring. The furniture is all brass with a mustard/vintage look. The muzzle measures inside about .55 or .52 caliber. As with many early exported flintlocks from European countries this gun has no maker name or proofs. Overall measures about 20" long and is very fine quality with fine craftsmanship exhbited through-out the entire gun! When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting. To buy a gun from me you must get a direct email for me, with details, and shipping cost.
