Colt 1849 Pocket Revolver with Large iron trigger guard and backstrap. 4" 5 shot. Serial No. 113105. Produced in 1856. 2-line New York address. If that's not rare enough, how about NO COLTS PATENT stamp on left frame. Never had one. Only revolver without one that I've ever seen in 50 years. Somebody wasn't paying attention in 1856. Traces of blue and casecolors, but mostly an attractive gun metal gray color. Grips have 95% original varnish present. Some silver on trigger guard. Cylinder scene is excellent as is the action. All 5 safety pins are present. Iron guard pockets are very desireable. A RARE VARIENT out of the collection not to often seen. Please call 973-214-3407 with questions. ON HOLD
