Description:Manufactured without sights on the slightly tapered barrel. The coin finished receiver features detailed field scene engravings of prong horns on the right and deer on the left. Field scenes are bordered with a broad leafy scroll. The left side of the receiver is signed "VRANCKEN" on the lower right corner. The floor plate of the fixed box style magazine is engraved as is the trigger guard. The top of the receiver is mounted with a solid Redfield scope base with rings. The wood features a unique carved leafy vine and circular border on the checkering. Fitted with sling swivel studs and a textured plastic Browning buttplate.
Condition:Excellent overall. The barrel and receiver show 99% of the original blue and coin finishes with minimal light handling marks. The wood is good with scattered light indentations, surface scratches and discoloration on the buttstock where the wood meets the buttplate. Mechanically excellent.
