Description:
The Colt Buntline was once attributed to the famous lawman Wyatt Earp. However, modern research can find such supporting documentation; there is no record of a Buntline before five were commissioned by Ned Buntline to give to five lawmen as a way of saying thank you for contributing to the local color in western yarns. They were described as extra-long barreled Colt Single Action Army Revolvers. Initially having twelve-inch barrels, they were later made in several long barrel lengths.
This particular revolver has a 7.5" barrel and weighs 36 O.Z., and is done in .22/.22WMR. With the color case hardening and no visible turn marks noted on the cylinder, this revolver is in 98% condition. It's the perfect revolver to add to any collection.
