Description:
Smith & Wesson original model 29 .44 magnum revolver, 6 1/2” barrel, blue finish. According to the S&W book this beautiful 29was made in 1958-59 and like all first version 29’s it is noted for having a “pinned” barrel and a recessed cylinder along with a very smooth action of that era, beautiful deep blue and diamond checkered target grips.
This revolver is in the original wooden case with the interior being replaced with soft foam and red fabric
This 29 has been fired and it is not perfect, but it does retain 98%+ original finishes with some normal handling marks and a very small spot of muzzle wear on the right side.
