Description:
Smith & Wesson model 29-2 .44 magnum revolver, 4” barrel, blue finish. According to the S&W book this beautiful 29-2 was made circa
1972 and like all 29-2’s it is noted for having a “pinned” barrel and a recessed cylinder along with a very smooth action of that era. Of course, the revolver has the Goncalo Alves target style grips, and the 3 T’s: Target trigger, Target hammer and Target sights with adjustable white-outline rear and red ramp front.
This revolver is in the original wooden case and shipping sleeve. The “fuzzy” blue interior of the case has been covered with a red velvet because if you remember the “fuzzy” coating on the molded plastic fell-off with time.
This 29-2 has been fired and it is not perfect, but it does retain 98%+ original finishes with some normal handling marks and a very small spot of muzzle wear on the right side.
