Description:
SOLD Pending Funds *** Francotte Model 25 E 12 ga SxS with 26" barrels and 2-3/4" chambers with side clips. The chokes are both modified and the barrels are Belgian proofed with the inscription of "Francotte choke bores" on the barrel flats. The barrel rib is solid with the nicest semi-circle matting to dampen the reflection of light. The drop at the comb is 1-3/4 in and the drop at the heel is 2-3/4 in. It has a half pistol grip stock of beautiful English walnut with double triggers and a fully checkered splinter forend. Additionally it has well-functioning ejectors and an automatic safety that is engaged when the top lever is actuated. There is little case colored left on the fully engraved receiver. The LOP 14 1/8 in over a red recoil pad that is 3/4 in thick. The serial number is in the 62XXX range and the weight 6 lbs 6 ozs. The bores are bright and shiny with a parallel dent about 8" from the left chamber at the end of the forend as shown in pictures #5.
