Designed for recreational and competition long range shooting, the Browning® Hell's Canyon Max Long Range Bolt-Action Centerfire Rifle delivers consistent precision groups at exceptional range. Featuring a heavy-sporter contour, free-floated, fluted, target-crowned barrel and the Browning® X-Bolt adjustable Feather Trigger System™ the Browning Hell's Canyon Max is user-adjustable to achieve optimal performance and comfort. The DuraTouch® Armor coated composite stock is finished in A-TACS AU (Arid/Urban) camouflage; and the receiver and barrel feature a Cerakote® Burnt Bronze finish for enhanced durability, and drastically increased performance in inclement conditions. An Inflex Technology™ recoil pad keeps the buttstock firmly in place, and reduces recoil along with the threaded muzzle brake, for greater control on follow up shots. Browning's Feather Trigger enhances potential accuracy by providing a clean, crisp pull with no take-up and minimum overtravel. 3 locking lugs provide exceptional strength and a short 60° bolt lift that cycles smooth and fast, while keeping a wide margin of space between your hand and the scope sight as you work the action. The vertical pistol grip offers an intuitive grip and enhanced control, while a detachable, rotary magazine feeds cartridges directly in-line with the chamber, instead of feeding offset as with conventional magazines. The Browning X-Bolt also features a top-tang safety with bolt unlock button that allows you to open the bolt for loading or inspection with the tang safety in the safe position.
