Description:
Here is an find for the A5 16ga parts hunters.
This A5 dates to 1938 (Jan - June: SN: 116056) based on my Browning reference book. It has a fully operational action, trigger assembly and other receiver parts, feeder tube, compression rings and spring, and cap. Single round lever locks up tight as well. Action locks in place and releases as it is supposed to do. Gold trigger shows an estimated 65% remaining.
Sadly, the forward edge of the receiver (where the barrel inserts) is slightly bent inward towards the area where the barrel inserts due to some impact in its history. There's also some light surface rust and spotting is evident on the sides of the receiver, and screws are buggard-up.
