Description:
THIS SMITH & WESSON REVOLVER MODEL WAS ALSO KNOWN AS THE "D.A. FRONTIER". It is a top-break revolver which automatically ejects spent cartridges when opened.
This revolver features Floral Scroll Engraving with a punch dot background on the barrel sides and lug, rear sides of the top strap, cylinder flats, frame and back strap.
The Top of the Barrel rib is marked with the two line address/patent dates and the matching serial number is marked on the butt, and appears to be silver plated, the S&W trade mark logo is marked on the right side of the frame. Pinned blade front and notch rear sights, and fit with two-piece smooth PEARL GRIPS with lots of fire and color and some chips around the tops of both panels... Good mechanically, with an excellent bore.
