Description:
Remington factory gun. This is a model 7600 chambered in .30-06 and hand engraved by Giovanelli and says Bottolo C Giovanelli right above the Remington scroll. This gun came from a Remington factory rep that exhibited at all the major gun trade shows. This has no conventional serial number or barrel stamps. It does have the customary factory warning and caliber roll stamping on the barrel and the R in triangle. The engraving, as told to me by the former rep, was the pattern for the fine line roll engraving Remington did on their pump and semi-auto rifles. As you can see, the wood has the high gloss finish. The gun is unfired. I don’t clean guns before I sell them, and, as you can see, there is some dirt and old oil on the muzzle end of the barrel that will clean right off. This gun will clean to new.
