Description:
45 ACP caliber with 5 inch barrel made in 1915. This WW1 pistol was inscribed on the right side of the slide “MAJOR ELMER P. KUHN 18th PA. INF. NG” and the Springfield eagle. Left side has the flaming Ordnance bomb. Diamond checkered walnut grips also have E P KUHN on bottom of right grip. Gun has been restored with most of that finish remaining. Tight action. Bore could use a good cleaning. You could always research the history of Major Kuhn. Not a bad looking piece of history.
