Description:
Civil War era Colt 1860 Army in good condition. This all numbers matching (frame to cylinder, trigger guard, and back-strap), 1862 vintage, Colt does not retain any of its original finishes, has been cleaned and then turned a silver/grey patina. It has a nice distinct Naval scene on the cylinder, the action functions fine, and the bore is fair with visible rifling. The grips are in very good condition, fitting well and retaining their original cartouches. The cylinder is missing one of its nipples, the others appear sound.
