Very rare A genuine old example dating from the 17th Century. the decoration is rather modest but yet elegand the gauntlet protects all the way down to the lower arm and is decorated with a lobbed rim which is often seen on deccan and martha arms and armor.. the arm piece is decorated with horizontal protruding lines . the edge is reinforced and decorated in a chisel motif .. The blade a fine assumably italian or german early 17 the century blade. double edged and likely made in genoa or soligen when inspecting the marks the blade was rivited to the gauntlet with two langets a genuine old example .dating from the 17th century
