Description:
This is a very handsome U.S. Military M1 Carbine made during 1944 by the Underwood company for service in WW2.  This Underwood Carbine would be the perfect choice for someone looking for a representative WW2-period piece that they can enjoy looking at as well as shooting.  This is an import-marked gun that likely saw service with the U.S. Military in both WW2 and Korea and did not make it back into the United States until sometime after 1968.  It also has some unique markings on the receiver that warrant additional research.  Full description to follow.
