Originally made in 1917 this rifle was sporterized by J.R. Chills Gunmakers Ltd. at 32 Orange Street London WC2 England. .303 British

Metal Condition: "Very Good, free of corrosion, most of the original military acceptance marks are still present on the receiver and barrel. The receiver has been drilled to accommodate the scope and the original magazine has been replaced with a shorter aftermarket
Wood Condition: "Very Good, the wood comprising both the fore stock and the buttstock has been replaced with and aftermarket stock. These pieces are in very good shape.
Bore Condition: "Good, this is the original five groove barrel. The bore is dark and dull with good rifling.
Barrels: 23.5" Barrel
Triggers: Modified trigger
Stock Dimensions:

Fore End: Aftermarket stock with black forend tip and grip cap.
