Bright bores but light pitting in both barrels, Strong Jones under lever, London nitro proofs 2002.
This is a great entry level hammer double, tight, and ready to go. I would not recommend 2 3/4" heavy load shells for this gun despite the modern proof. Proof is only two shots per barrel and is only "proof" the barrels can take the pressure, not that the action and vintage wood can take thousands of rounds of use. I would shoot low pressure 2 3/4" shells or 2 1/2" shells such at the RST Lite. See them at rstshells.
