Description:
SOLD PF *** This is a Hatfield Sidelock 20ga with 26" barrels that are choked SKEET/IC, 2-3/4" chambers, chrome lined barrels that are Belgium rust blue finished and the barrel flats that are beautifully engine turned or jeweled. The matted rib is 8 mm wide. The wood is perfectly finished and highly figured with a straight grip stock with nicely cut drop points off of the side panels. The checkering is 24 lines per inch, flawlessly executed, and the stock has a length of pull of 14-3/4" to a nicely checkered butt. These shotguns feature the Hatfield London seven pin, hand removable, jeweled lock plate with safety sears and semi-chopper lump barrels featuring double locking underlugs with Holland & Holland style ejectors. The case color hardening is excellent with hand engraving. And as you can see it has a gold slot cocking indicator. The gun also has articulating double triggers for instantaneous choke selection and weighs only 6 pounds 4 ounces. It is in excellent condition overall, showing very little use. This beautiful little gun comes in a leather case. A fantastic gun in anyone's eyes.
