THIS IS A FAIRLY RARE COLT MODEL 1878 DOUBLE ACTION REVOLVER IN EXCELLENT ORIGINAL BLUE FINISH!
SERIAL 10787. BARREL 4". CALIBER 45 COLT. MADE IN 1883. Comes with Colt Archive Letter.Very desireable factory blue short barrel Storekeeper with no ejector, no lanyard ring, six shot, fluted cylinder, double action that still retains at least 85% of it's original bright Colt factory blue finish. Bore and action are near mint. Colt gutta percha grips are excellent and free of chips or breaks. Most of the wear is on back strap and trigger guard and are now smooth patina. One of the better blue examples you will find. A very nice piece! Colt Archive letter confirms the configuration of this nice revolver. It will be included.
