1920s German WALTHER Model 8 FIRST VARIANT 6.35x16mm Pistol C&R
Weimar-Era Concealable Pistol!
Here we present a C&R Walther Model 8 Pistol in .25 ACP, manufactured circa 1925 in Zella Mehlis, Thuringia. This tiny semi-automatic pistol was a great success for Walther in the post-WWI era and into World War II. It remained popular into the 40s and was often carried by Wehrmacht staff officers during the Second World War, and as a backup gun by the troops.
This is a slick little gun that is extremely ergonomic and would have fit the bill for something light, concealable, and reliable. It resembles similar FN pistols of the time. The magazine holds 7. There is a safety on the left side of the gun just in front of the grip.
The overall condition is fine. Original blue finish. The action is strong and tight. The bore is bright throughout. Both grips are in excellent shape. Here is a great WWII German pistol for display in the collection!
