Payment Types Accepted: Description: On Hold Sale Pending. US Springfield Model 1816 Springfield flintlock converted to percussion approximately 69 caliber. This Springfield started its life as a flintlock but was converted to percussion probably in the 1850s and long ago shortened to 2 band length with a 32.5 inch barrel. The percussion lock works fine and is marked US Springfield 1825 with the American eagle. The tang markings are faint but appears to be the same date. The barrel proof markings are present near the breach. The dark walnut stock has nice color 2 cartouches a rack number 3 and a name on the right side and other initials on the left side. The but plate is marked US and both sling swivels and ramrod are present. Shipping will be actual cost approximately $50.00.
