U.S. Martial Colt Model 1860 Army Percussion Revolver, #123547, .44 ball, 8'' barrel, blue and case-hardened finish, iron backstrap, brass triggerguard, one-piece ,(2) ,cartouched,walnut grips, with cursive ''D'' inspector's marks to barrel lug on both sides and to high portion of cylinder and rebated area, as well as block ''H'' inspector's mark behind triggerguard on front strap. Comes with Colt Archive Letter! Mfg'd 1863. Condition is very good to fine retaining approx. 40% thinning and toning original blue with moderate general overall knackering to barrel assembly. Cartouches are mostly vivid but has thinned somewhat. Cylinder scene is mostly visible with a few very light dings. Very faint traces of case coloring remain on frame and barrel with all markings crisp and clear. All safety pins are present; as are the nipples. Fine smooth Walnut Grips may have been re-finished long ago. All visible serial numbers match, including wedge. and grip. Action is crisp, bore is bright with strong rifling.
