Description:
This High Standard was manufactured in 1956 and remains in very good overall condition. The S-101 series was used by the military for competitive target shooting at Camp Perry by championship shooters during the 1950's. Gun has a one button takedown and military magazine extender. Metal retains most of its blue with some light oxidation starting on barrel. Front strap has what appears to be a hand stippled grip (can be removed) wrapped around and tucked under grips. Plastic grips show only light wear and have military Eagle in bottom corner. Barrel is ported. Bore is excellent. No box. Cool piece of military and firearm history! .22 Long Rifle
