Description:
25 inch octagon barrel. 2-leaf flip up rear sight and small blade front sight. Wood is in excellent condition with a considerable amount of varnish remaining. Nicely checkered. Steel buttplate. Barrel retains a good amount of brown finish with sharp corners. Receiver has about 70% coverage of delicate English style engraving. Barratt's name on the side. Frame retains a considerable amount of case hardening turning kinda dark. Bolt action mechanism that you unscrew and turn to the other side and the barrel falls down. It has a thumb activated hammer. Functions very well. An unusual little rook rifle.
