WW1 REMINGTON U.S. MODEL 1917 or P17 .30-06 CAL. INFANTRY RIFLE DATED 12-17. Made during the first year of production and certainly issued during the war. All original parts with excellent markings on receiver and all Remington parts except stock which is a Winchester replacement. . Early 216xxx serial number with barrel stamped “R/ORDNANCE BOMB/12-17” Fine overall with most of the original blue with light wear. Matching stock and handguard with a few minor scratches and light wear. Forward sling swivel and stacking swivel missing. Working order and good rifling with some moderate wear and frosting. No import marks.
