Description:
This pistol was manufactured in early 1944. It shows very little use, with about 95 percent of the parkerized finish remaining and a frost-free shiny bore with sharp, excellent rifling. There is a small amount of finish loss on the front strap and the back strap has only a couple of very tiny spots of wear, one on the grip safety and one at the bottom at the magazine well. There is also a scratch to the finish of the left side at the trigger guard, a common scratch caused by improper dismounting of the slide stop, I have noticed. Please view the photos, as they are an integral part of the description. Extra photos on request. FFL required. S-marked Scovill magazine comes with the pistol. Holster marked 65th Infantry and Germany 1945. The 65th was involved in operations at various bridges and German strongholds in toward the end of WWII, when the German cause was nearing its end.
