Wonderful Confederate bowie found in Georgia-in orig black paint, walnut handle made with brass scraps and a copper washer to fill the void
at the rear very common many are found with coins in this location, small movement in the d guard due to age and shrinkage--look like the blade is made from a file one side has a raised area along the blade the other side is flat. blade measures 17 inches and is in wonderful shape. the guard shows old black paint insid and outside the d guard area..
