Description:
This late production Colt Bisley Model SAA .41 Colt was manufactured in 1913 and remains in fair, but factory-correct condition. The barrel, cylinder, frame, trigger, and trigger guard show original finish with light freckling. Both the frontstrap and backstrap show a gray-brown patina, the latter of which is interspersed with freckling. Now in its 108th year, that's to be expected. Unfortunately, though, the cylinder timing is off. Also, somewhere in its travels someone over-torqued the grip screw, resulting in a cracked left grip panel. Even Gutta-percha hard rubber has its limits. That said, despite its "apologies", it's still an original Colt Bisley, the likes of which have not been produced since 1915. .41 Long Colt
