Smith and Wesson Model 60 Ivory Grips New in Box
The Model 60 revolver was the first stainless steel handgun manufactured by Smith & Wesson, it began production in 1965. This revolver dates to 1969, verified through S&W help desk.
NRA Excellent, new condition.
Features a 1.875" pinned barrel, chambered in .38 Special and comes with box, manual, registration card, S&W brochure, cleaning rod (unopened), original medallion Magna grips (excellent), original Lawrence leather holster and the finest set of diamond checkered, pre-ban elephant ivory grips.
Bore and cylinders are mirror bright, the action is like new. Cylinder shows the faintest, if any turn line.
Condition is testament to the meticulous care which was taken with this piece from day one. Original owner purchased new as a "Dress gun" keeping it mostly in a safe.
Simply not made like this anymore. None finer.
