Description:
"Ten shots quick!" and "Aims as easy as pointing your finger!" were two of the early advertising slogans for the Savage Model 1907 when it was introduced. The Model 1907 was very popular because, despite its small size, it had a 10-round double-stack magazine and fired the .380 ACP and is still highly desired by collectors. This Savage Model 1907 appears to be original — it shows natural age. It is marked "MANUFACTURED BY SAVAGE ARMS CO. UTICA NY. U.S.A. CAL. 380 PATENTED NOV. 21, 1905" on the top of slide. The grip panels are a checkered, hard black plastic with "Savage Quality" circling the Savage Chief logo. "SAFE" and "FIRE" are stamped on left rear of pistol. The pistol can be cocked and uncocked with the exposed hammer in back of slide. The Serial Number is stamped on face of pistol just under the barrel. .380 ACP
